This album cover was designed for the artist Noor, starting from a portrait photograph of her that underwent extensive digital manipulation.
I layered her face with high-resolution scans of my hand-painted paper textures and crafted a collaged butterfly over her eyes using the same raw materials. I paired these tactile, surreal elements with an elegant yet exciting custom typeface. The final design presents a subtly eerie, dark visual identity with a distinct Y2K aesthetic.
