Pápa in Negative

An analog photo series capturing high school years at the Reformed College of Pápa. Created alongside studies in graphic design, these images depict student life, the historic school building, and quiet moments across the town. A visual journal of light, shadow, and coming of age, seen through the eyes of a young graphic artist.

This series is a personal record of my high school years spent at the Reformed College of Pápa. These are the very first analog photos I ever took, shot with a Zenit-E camera inherited from my grandfather.

Alongside my studies in graphic design, photography naturally became part of my daily life. The grain and discipline of black-and-white film were closely tied to the visual mindset that was beginning to take shape for me at the time — a perspective that has since evolved in my work into a fusion of the analog and digital worlds.
